Fox T-shirt the key clue in abduction attempt at Narre Warren

A DISTINCTIVE T-shirt bearing an image of a fox has emerged as a key clue in an abduction attempt in Melbourne's east.
Police say a man wearing a similar T-shirt is being sought over the attempt to snatch a 10-year-old boy from the carpark of a Bunnings hardware store in Narre Warren.
A vehicle with West Australian number plates ending with the numerals 7 and 3 has also been linked to the incident.
Investigators will tomorrow run an information caravan at the Bunnings from 3pm to 7pm in the hope of gathering more clues from the public.
The child had been waiting for his mother in the back of a utility when a man approached, offered sweets and invited the boy to his car.
He refused and the man then tried to pull him out.
The boy broke away and rang his mother.
The would-be abductor’s vehicle was a black sedan with tinted windows and a spoiler
