Man Quizzed Over Rape Of Teen Boy

A MAN was being questioned by police last night over the rape of a 15-year-old boy in bushland on Brisbane's southside.
The boy was allegedly sodomised and made to perform acts of a sexual nature at Burbank on Sunday after he accepted a lift from a man who approached him at a phone booth in Windemere Rd, Alexandra Hills.
Detective Senior Sergeant Duncan Campbell said the alleged perpetrator had struck up a conversation. The boy was driven to bushland in Cherbon St, Burbank, and walked into an isolated lot about 1pm.
He was then allegedly punched, hit with a stick, raped and made to perform sexual acts.
"He's (the alleged rapist) then taken him back and the boy made up a false address and said drop me off here," said Sen-Sgt Campbell.
"It was pretty close to the Capalaba police station and he went in and made a complaint."
The boy, who sustained bruising and other minor physical injuries in the attack, helped detectives to put together a comfit of his attacker.
Hours later, Juvenile Aid Bureau detectives went to a Cannon Hill residence where they spoke to a 42-year-old man. The resident was taken to Wynnum police station for questioning.
