Charge Over Sex Assault On Teen Girl


A MAN has been charged over the alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl in Sydney.
A 14-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted and punched in the stomach a number of times after accompanying a 36-year-old man to a unit in suburban Maroubra with her friend on May 7.
NSW police say detectives arrested the man outside a Portland Crescent, Maroubra, unit block about midday yesterday.
He was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count each of aggravated indecent assault and common assault.
He is due to appear in Waverley Local Court today.
