Name: Alistah Laishkochav

Age:74 yrs old

State: Vic (Bells Beach).

Offence/ Sentence:Convicted of 22 counts of sexual assault on girls ( aged 7-10yrs). He was jailed for seven and a half years with a non-parole period of 5yrs.
In March 2003 Laishkochav was taken into custody by the NSW Police, to face five warrants for sex offences. The warrants are for indecent assaults on two teenage girls- 13 and 14 in the 1970's.

Other:The offences occurred when the former guru and his extended family, nine wives and 63 children,were living at Bells Beach. The Judge was noted as saying"To the question of remorse it was not suggested you had any and I am quite satisfied you have none".
