Why do child sex offenders
use pornography

There are 5 principle uses of child pornography-
  • To seduce children, lower children's inhibitions and as part of the grooming process to model sexual behaviour.
  • To blackmail the child into keeping silent about the abuse.
  • To preserve a child's youth in an image at the age of sexual preference.
  • To establish trust and camaraderie with other paedophiles.
  • To get access to other markets and children by exchanging material with other paedophiles.
